About Highgate Burton
Highgate Burton is an independent industrial surplus brokerage based in Luxembourg.
We connect European manufacturers holding unused automation components with established international buyers who require those parts urgently.
Factories accumulate spare PLCs, drives, HMIs and control components over time. Some become obsolete. Some are never used. Some sit on shelves for years. To the facility, they are dormant assets. To the secondary market, they are critical infrastructure.
We specialise in identifying that gap and turning idle inventory into immediate, legitimate revenue.
We do not manufacture.
We do not refurbish.
We facilitate precise, structured transactions between verified sellers and established global buyers.
Our role is simple: clarity, verification, and execution.
Our Approach
We operate on three principles:
1. Precision over speculation
Every transaction is based on exact manufacturer part numbers and confirmed market demand. No guesswork. No vague valuations.
2. Risk minimisation
We work only with recognised industrial buyers and follow structured verification steps — including serial confirmation and condition checks — before any transaction proceeds.
3. Direct value creation
We do not “pitch” products. We identify surplus assets and match them with real demand. The value already exists — we simply unlock it.
Our Process
Step 1 – Identification
We review surplus or unused automation inventory (PLCs, drives, modules, etc.) and confirm exact part numbers and condition.
Step 2 – Market Confirmation
We obtain current purchase offers from established international buyers to determine verified resale value.
Step 3 – Verification
We confirm factory-sealed or unused condition through documentation and photographic serial verification.
Step 4 – Transaction Coordination
Once pricing is agreed, we coordinate the sale directly with the buyer. Shipping and logistics are handled through established channels.
Step 5 – Immediate Liquidity
The seller receives payment for inventory that would otherwise remain dormant.
